Game Developer Regression Games Closes $4.2 Million Seed Funding Round with a16z Involved

Regression Games, a developer of AI games, has closed a $4.2 million seed round of funding led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA), with participation from a16z, BBQ Capital, Roosh Ventures and others. The funds raised will be used to scale the team and accelerate development of an initial platform for testing AI-powered games. Regression Games is building a platform and ecosystem that aims to help players write code and AI to control characters, debug strategies in real-time, compete for prizes in tournaments, and more.
