Game Studio Roboto Games Raises $15M in Series A Led by a16z

Game studio Roboto Games announced it has raised $15m in a Series A funding round led by a16z, with participation from Ancient8, Animoca Brands, Gumi Cryptos Capital and others. The fund will be used to develop the studio's second game and to hire different roles.

Roboto Games aims to bridge Web2 gaming experiences and Web3 in-game elements. Currently, it's focusing on a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game named Foragers and Fighters, and plans to launch the first version in Q1 2023.
