Germany Drops Plan to Extend Pledge/Loan Term for Tax-Free Cryptocurrency Sales to 10 Years

Presight Capital crypto venture advisor Patrick Hansen tweeted that German MP Frank Schäffler was organizing a crypto tax roundtable at the German Parliament yesterday. The good news is that pledging/lending of crypto assets will no longer extend the holding period for tax-free sales (usually 1 year) to 10 years.
