Global Currency Concept Project Worldcoin Currently Valued at $1 billion, Invested by a16z

TokenInsight news, Worldcoin, a project co-founded by former Y Combinator president Sam Altman, Alex Blania, and Max Novendstern, has updated its progress, with the project undergoing field testing in select regions and a global launch in a few months, with the project currently valued at $1 billion. Previously, on June 29th Worldcoin announced the closing of a $25 million funding round with participation from a16z, Coinbase Ventures, LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, Day One Ventures, Kenetic Capital, and others. Worldcoin plans to issue to everyone in the world A global digital currency that allows users to scan their irises with a spherical device (Orb) they developed to form a specific digital code and receive a certain amount of digital currency.
