Google Partners with NBA to Launch Metaverse Project Google Pixel Arena

As the NBA enters the 2021/22 playoffs, Google has partnered with the NBA to launch Google Pixel Arena, a metaverse project that will allow fans to participate in NBA basketball with their own avatars. Google Pixel Arena will be available between halftime and the game on the NBA app, but any smartphone with the NBA app smartphones can access it, and users can have their virtual players explore the ballgame wearing the uniforms and accessories of their team of choice. Google and the NBA in addition to cooperation in the field of metaverse, Google Pixel will also become the official fan phone and sponsor of the NBA.
