Helium Core Developers Propose Migration of Crypto Wireless Network to Solana

Decentralized wireless network Helium core developers have launched HIP 70, a proposal to migrate the network from Helium's custom blockchain to Solana to improve the operational efficiency of the Helium blockchain. To achieve this goal, the core developer team proposes moving Proof-of-Coverage (PoC) and Data Transfer Accounting to Oracles, which simplifies the system architecture and allows for the selection of a more scalable Layer 1. The Helium Foundation will hold a token-based community vote on the proposal beginning on September 12th and ending September 18th.
