HK Web3 Association Accepting applications, Founding Members include major Chinese Enterprise

The initiating members of Hong Kong Web3.0 Association include China Mobile, China Merchants Group, Huawei, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The chairman, Norman Chan Tak-Lam, is the former head of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. He stated that in addition to well-known cryptocurrencies and pure digital art, there are actually more tangible or traditional assets in the real world that can be digitized, especially in the form of NFT to prove ownership and trade property rights online.

According to the official website of Hong Kong Web3 Association, membership applications are now open, and membership types include senior members, advanced members, and ordinary members. Hong Kong Web3 Association stated that it will provide members with the latest information on Web 3.0 and regularly hold conferences, research meetings, field observations, and other activities to promote the development and cross-border cooperation of Web 3.0.

Earlier report: Hong Kong Web3.0 Association will be officially established on April 11, promoting the healthy and sustainable development of Web3.0 in Hong Kong, providing policy directions to the special administrative region government, and attracting industry elites to come to Hong Kong.
