Interlay Wins Polkadot's 10th Parachain Slot Auction

TokenInsight news, Polkadot's 10th parachain slot auction has ended, with Interlay winning Polkadot's 10th parallel chain slot auction with a locked-in 2,751,900 $DOT. Regarding the scheduling of Polkadot's next batch of slot auctions, Joe, Web3 Foundation's Director of Technical Integration, initiated a motion to discuss with the community, which has now passed and been implemented. The proposal is to run seven auctions in each of the four LP over the next 12 months, i.e., to start a new auction every 172,800 blocks (12 days), leaving 73,800 blocks (about 5 days and 3 hours) between auctions, with the first two winners in a batch joining the Polkadot network immediately, and the next five winners in the next LP to join the Polkadot relay chain.
