Interoperability Protocol LayerZero Team Will Launch Cross-Chain Protocol Stargate

Interoperability protocol LayerZero will launch Stargate, a cross-chain protocol that allows users to swap tokens across seven blockchains, within the next two days. LayerZero has also hired SushiSwap co-founder 0xMaki to join its team to lead its business development. In addition, LayerZero will open up a public sale of native tokens on the Stargate bridge on March 17. The token sale will be in auction mode (up to $0.25) and a total of 100 million $STG tokens will be sold (10% of the total supply), with all funds raised during the event going to the protocol. The 100 million stargate tokens sold during the auction will be frozen for up to a year followed by another six months of linear vesting.
