Story Protocol is a protocol for creating, managing, and licensing new intellectual property on-chain, designed to democratize intellectual property creation through a global, scalable IP repository. The protocol provides a simple framework to manage the entire lifecycle of IP development to enable features such as source tracking, frictionless licensing, and revenue sharing.
The protocol aims to attract a rich ecosystem of third-party developers offering services including crowdfunding, capital formation, IP discovery, licensing modules, AI content certification, and community development. Story Protocol offers an open modular architecture into which any application can plug, and its decentralized nature eliminates platform risk for ecosystem builders.
