Lawmakers Race to Release Draft of Stablecoin Bill Ahead of August Recess

US House of Representatives lawmakers plan to release draft text of a stablecoin regulation bill before the August recess. It is reported that the bill will allow non-banks to issue stablecoins and may be introduced as early as this week.
