Layer1 Blockchain Sei Live on Mainnet

Layer1 blockchain Sei announced the launch of its mainnet. Users can now bridge assets to Sei, or stake their $SEI token. Multiple centralized exchanges, including Binance, Bybit, Bitget, KuCoin, Upbit, and more, have listed $SEI.

Built with the Cosmos SDK and Tendermint core, Sei is a decentralized PoS blockchain designed for exchange applications, aiming to offer infrastructure for the exchange of digital assets. According to Sei, it has the fastest time to finality among any blockchains and features a built-in central limit orderbook as well as a built-in matching engine, being able to provide deep liquidity and price-time-priority matching for traders and apps.

Previously, Sei announced the $SEI tokenomics and the details of its airdrop.
