Leading gaming companies TSM & Blitz to Build Avalanche subnet with $AVAX as Gas token

Avalanche, a leading blockchain platform, has partnered with TSM and Blitz, two major players in the esports and gaming industry, to bring Web3 features to over 30 million gamers.

The partnership will see Blitz, a popular gaming app with 30 million users, built on an Avalanche Subnet, which is designed to maximize speed, security, and scalability. Using $AVAX for gas fees, the Blitz Subnet will burn a portion of $AVAX fees with every transaction that gamers make. Additionally, TSM will host Avalanche-branded tournaments on the Blitz Subnet, allowing players to compete for prizes and gain performance insights and learning tools.

John Wu, President at Ava Labs, the team behind Avalanche, stated:

The partnering with TSM will bring innovative gaming experiences to players around the world. Wu also highlighted Avalanche's fully customizable subnets, which were created to help organizations push the boundaries of what is possible for gaming with sub-second transaction speed, scalability, and security for millions of users.

The partnership comes at a crucial time for Avalanche gaming, as the platform has emerged as the leader for game developers and players, with many popular live games and anticipated titles coming from top publishers.
