Lido Partners with Axelar and Neutron to Bring $wstETH into Cosmos Ecosystem

Lido has partnered with cross-chain interoperability protocol Axelar and Cosmos-based smart contract platform Neutron to launch a $wstETH bridge between Ethereum and Neutron. $wstETH can now be bridged from Ethereum to Neutron, thus entering the wider Cosmos ecosystem.

To ensure a smooth onboarding experience, the bridge rewards users with a small amount of gas. According to Neutron, a number of further improvements will be launched soon, including 1-click bridging from Ethereum to any IBC-enabled chain.

Once a cross-chain governance implementation has been developed, Axelar and Neutron will hand over ownership, administration, and management of the bridge to Lido DAO.
