Lido V2 Vote on May 12th; stETH Withdrawals Will Be Enabled If Vote Successful

The final on-chain vote for the Lido V2 upgrade is scheduled for Friday, May 12th. If no last-minute issues arise and the vote is successful, Lido V2 will go live after the vote enactment on May 15th.

Following a successful vote, stakers can expect direct in-protocol stETH:ETH withdrawals and a staking router architecture, paving the way for new staking modules. The 270k ETH in the Withdrawals vault will be available post-upgrade, enabling the fulfillment of initial withdrawal requests without a lengthy validator exit process. This means that withdrawal requests are likely to be serviced more quickly during the first three days.
