LINE's Blockchain Subsidiary LVC Changes Name to LINE Xenesis

LINE's blockchain subsidiary LVC has changed its name to LINE Xenesis, a name that officials say is intended to provide blockchain services that permeate users' daily lives. The new company name is inspired by the "Genesis Block" the first block in the blockchain. Previously, LINE Group established the "LINE Blockchain Lab" in April 2018 to develop dApps that apply blockchain technology, utilize distributed systems for P2P networks, and research cryptography.
