Layer1 blockchain Linera announced that it has closed a $6m seed funding round led by a16z, with participation from Cygni Capital, Kima Ventures and Tribe Capital. The fund raised will be used to hire staff to build the protocol. Linera aims to create a low-latency blockchain which brings the scalability of Web2 to Web3.
