Lotte Partners with Polygon to Expand Lotte Group's NFT Project Globally

Lotte has signed a partnership agreement with Polygon to expand the global reach of the Lotte Group's NFT project. Lotte has been actively developing its NFT business by collaborating with various companies, including Lotte Group affiliates, since starting its stake investment in blockchain company Blocko in July of last year.

With this partnership, Lotte plans to accelerate the global expansion of various NFT projects in collaboration with leading domestic and foreign companies through active cooperation with Ethereum scaling solution Polygon. The company aims to create a new NFT business model with the active support of the Polygon Foundation and to leap as a competitive player in the global ecosystem of web3.0.

The first project the two companies will collaborate on is the Lotte Home Shopping's BeliGom NFT. The BeliGom NFT Season 2 roadmap at the BeliGom NFT Holder Party held at Lotte World on the 25th of last month. The two companies will strengthen their partnership starting with the BeliGom NFT Season 2 rebranding and lead the global NFT market by collaborating to provide differentiated value and new experiences to holders (NFT owners).
