MakerDAO Announced Major Rebrand with New Tokens and Utilizing AI

MakerDAO announced to introduce a governance model that will make use of artificial intelligence (AI) and rebrand its token.

The plan involves launching new tokens that unite the Maker governance token ($MKR) and the Dai stablecoin ($DAI) under a new brand. Those new tokens will be released in the first phase of the plan over the coming months, and users will be able to upgrade their old tokens optionally.

Six SubDAOs will be launched, responsible for delegated tasks and enabling users to farm tokens. AI-based governance tools will also be introduced, allowing users to summarize, verify, and generate governance proposals with the help of AI.

The last two stages of the plan include launching governance participation incentives and a new blockchain with DAO's core features.
