Metaverse project The Kingdom raised $3.6M in funding with participation from Alameda Research, Newman Capital, Shima Capital, 3 Commas and others. The Kingdom aims to build a 'culture-led', worldwide social hub, using NFT avatars to establish an immersive digital playground for users. The Kingdom also plans to add play-to-earn features for those involved in games, creating user-generated content, etc, and the rewards can be used for other features like upgrading characters and buying NFT items.
