Mixin Founder Feng Xiaodong: Will Compensate Up to 50% of Losses

Mixin founder Feng Xiaodong stated that the hacked assets in this incident are primarily Bitcoin, and assets such as BOX and XIN have not experienced severe hack.

The specific details of the attack cannot be disclosed at this time. The official statement indicates that they will compensate for up to 50% of the losses, with the remaining portion being compensated in the form of bond tokens and repurchased using profits. Additionally, Mixin will introduce a new system for user asset migration, but currently, only half of the user balances can be transferred.

Mixin Network issued an announcement on Twitter this morning, stating that the network's cloud service provider database was hacked, resulting in the loss of some assets on the mainnet, involving approximately $200 million. Deposit and withdrawal services on the Mixin Network have been suspended.
