Moonbeam Foundation announces the successful bid for the 27th Kusama parachain slot auction, securing Moonriver Network's slot lease for the second half of 2022 through 2023. The Moonbeam Foundation won the slot through a purely self-funded bid, with the $KSM used to bid on the slot coming from approximately 20,000 $MOVR cleared from the community initiatives and parachain Slot Reserve quota.
