Museum DAO Arkive Raised $9.7M with Participation from Coinbase Ventures and Others

Museum DAO Arkive announced that it has closed a $9.7m funding round co-led by Offline and TCG Crypto, with participation from NFX, Freestyle Capital, Coinbase Ventures and others. Arkive's collections are curated by its members, who vote on which items they want to acquire. The items will be minted as NFTs to store their historical provenance, authentication, quality, and condition on blockchain. Anyone will be able to verify the item in existing public places like museums and galleries.
