NEAR Ecosystem NFT Infrastructure Mintbase Closes $12.5 Million Series A Financing

Mintbase, the NEAR ecosystem NFT infrastructure, announced that it has raised $12.5 million in Series A funding, including a $7.5 million strategic round and Mintbase Grants, a $5 million grant program backed by the NEAR Foundation. The strategic round was led by Woodstock Fund with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Animoca Brands, Figment and others. The funds raised will be used by Mintbase to pioneer developers and entrepreneurs in the new digital economy. Previously, Mintbase closed a $1 million seed round in November 2020, led by Sino Global with participation from D1 Ventures, Block Oracle Capital, Arweave and others.
