NFT Startup FirstMate Closes $3.75M Funding Round Led by Dragonfly Capital

NFT startup FirstMate has closed a $3.75 million funding round led by Dragonfly with participation from Coinbase Ventures and NextView.

FirstMate concurrently unveiled the beta launch of its marketplace website builder, for which it has partnered with Manifold, another startup in the NFT space.

FirstMate is a startup that aims to equip NFT creators with digital storefronts, founded in 2022 by former employees of Instagram and Walmart. FirstMate is said to focus on creators rather than the marketplace, allowing artists to centralize all of their works on one platform, regardless of where it was created, and by handing them total control over royalties.
