Nomad Announces NFT Rewards for Whitehats Who Returned Funds

Cross-chain interoperability protocol Nomad tweeted that it partnered with Metagame to create the earned NFT to reward whitehats who returned more than 90% of hacked funds to the official recovery wallet on Ethereum. Whitehats who have not yet returned funds still have the opportunity to participate, and Metagame will automatically check the on-chain transaction history. After claiming the Whitehats NFT, the first 50 whitehats can also claim $100 $FF tokens. But the move sparked community discontent that the Nomad team was rewarding whitehats with worthless NFTs. Previously, Nomad was hacked on August 2nd and lost nearly $190 million of its funds. The Nomad funds recovery address has now received about $32.62 million worth of funds.
