Optimism Announces Second $OP Airdrop

Optimism announced the second $OP airdrop. 11.7m $OP is distributed to over 300k addresses, which is around 0.27% of the total initial supply.

The airdrop is distributed to: addresses that have delegated the voting power of their $OP, and addresses that spent more than $6.1 on gas on Optimism since March 25th, 2022. On top of these requirements, addresses which meet some other criteria will get a bonus.

There's no claim page for the airdrop, and the tokens are sent directly to eligible addresses. The snapshot was taken on January 20th at 0:00 UTC, and the distribution started on February 9th at 19:00 UTC.

According to TokenInsight, the price of $OP dropped 12.5% over the last 24 hours, trading at $2.4335 now.
