Optimism has launched the third round of its OP Airdrop programme, allocating a total of approximately 19 million OP tokens to over 31,000 unique addresses to reward community users for their active participation in governance.

This round of the Airdrop started on 19 September at 02:10 GMT, and there is no claim page, and it will be distributed directly to addresses that have delegated the voting power of their OP tokens between 20 January and 20 July 2023.

In the announcement, Optimism emphasizes governance is crucial to the success of the Optimistic Vision. Airdrop #3 rewards those who have supported Optimism governance through delegation. On top of the baseline reward for delegation, addresses receive a 2x bonus if they have delegated to an active voter – someone who has participated in an onchain vote in Optimism governance.
