Optimism, the Ethereum Layer2 scaling network, announced the launch of Warp Speed, a custodial bridge for quickly bridging small amounts of $ETH, and redesigned the official bridge interface to integrate a number of third-party bridges into one user interface. Optimism officials say that bridging transfers of less than $0.5 ETH can reduce transfer costs by up to 5x with Warp Speed, while increasing transfer speeds by about 15x.
