Optimism: $OP Inflation Rate Mistakenly Set at 20%, to Be Changed Back to 2% Today

Optimism Governance tweeted that they announced that the total supply would inflate at a rate of 2% per year when they first launched $OP. However, when they deployed the contract, the rate was mistakenly set to 20%. Later today, they'll be updating the contract logic to the intended 2%. Inflation of OP does not begin until next year. No new tokens have been minted or moved. Any future changes to this rate must be made through governance.
