Options Exchange Aevo Announces Public Launch, Offers Bitcoin Trading

Aevo, a decentralized options exchange launched by Ribbon Finance, announced it's open to the public with the launch of Open Mainnet. Now, all users are able to access Aevo to start trading. In addition, Aevo announced that Bitcoin options and perpetuals are live on the platform.

Aevo went live on the mainnet in April, starting with a gated launch. Only users holding $PASS NFTs were allowed to trade on the platform. According to Aevo, during the gated mainnet, the exchange had a trading volume of over $70 million.

Aevo is built on Aevo Chain, an optimistic roll-up to Ethereum that runs on the OP Stack. Besides options and perpetuals products of Ether and Bitcoin, Aevo also has Aevo OTC, an on-chain trading platform for alternative cryptocurrencies launched last month.
