P2E Blockchain Game Company Azra Games Closed $15 Million Funding Round Led by a16z

Azra Games, a P2E blockchain game company, has closed a $15 million seed round led by a16z with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Play Ventures and Franklin Templeton. The funds raised will be used to develop its first combat role-playing game, Project Arcanas. Azra was co-founded by entrepreneurs Sonny Mayugba (who serves as COO) and Travis Boudreaux, along with game designer and Electronic Arts alum Mark Otero (who serves as CEO). Mark Otero is the developer of the game "Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes".
