Peer-to-peer File Sharing Platform LimeWire to Relaunch as NFT Marketplace

Peer-to-peer file sharing platform LimeWire is set to relaunch in May as a digital collectibles marketplace for art, entertainment and music. The new LimeWire will focus on music-linked NFTs, allowing users to buy and trade rare music-related items such as limited edition pre-release songs, exclusive live versions and other digital goods. LimeWire was reportedly accused of causing "massive" music copyright infringement in 2010 and has been shut down for more than a decade.
