One of Solana's main wallets, Phantom announced it is starting to support the Bitcoin ecosystem, including Bitcoin Ordinals and BRC20 tokens. Phantom supports Bitcoin native Segwit and Taproot addresses, and can receive and send BTC, BRC20 tokens, and Ordinals.
Users can also see details about the inscription, such as ID and sat number, and user protection features such as spam filtering function.
At the same time, the UniSat wallet announced it is starting to support Phantom wallet connection. Both UniSat Inscribe and UniSat Marketplace are now compatible with Phantom.
Notable Bitcoin influencer and Taproot Wizards project co-founder Uni Wertheimer tweeted that the move represented a significant validation of Bitcoin's growth this year.
