Phishing Ad Links Appear on Etherscan, CoinGecko
Security researcher Jon_HQ tweeted that phishing ad links have recently appeared on Etherscan and CoinGecko. The ads request the signature of a user's MetaMask wallet to maliciously connect to the user's wallet and steal assets. The phishing Ad has now been officially fixed, and users can revoke access through revoke.cash if they interacted with the signature request while browsing.
