Polkadot Launches the Cross-Consensus Message Format XCM

Polkadot tweeted that Polkadot has been updated to v0.9.19 after a community vote. This version officially enables the cross-consensus message format XCM, which allows communication not just between the parachains themselves, but also smart contracts, DApps, and Substrate pallets. In addition, this update also upgrades Statemint, a public interest parachain, allowing users to mint assets (like NFTs) and teleport $DOT with the Relay Chain.
