Polygon to Distribute Nearly 1.4 Billion Unclaimed $MATIC to Team, Foundation, Staking Rewards

According to Polygon's official Telegram channel announcement, 1,386,609,632 $MATIC unlocked as of April 21, 2021 are not claimed and will be claimed by the Polygon Foundation. Of this amount, 640 million $MATIC (6.4%) will be distributed to the team and will be staked directly by the co-founders once claimed; 546,609,632 $MATIC (5.46%) will be distributed to the Foundation and the team will update the community beforehand on any movement from the foundation wallets; and 200 million $MATIC (2%) will be distributed to staking awards for the period May-December 2021.
