Oracle network Pyth announced a retrospective airdrop program for community members. More than 200 dapps across 27 blockchains using Pyth data and the users of those applications are eligible for the aridrops.
Those blockchain ecosystems include Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, zkSync, Aptos, Sui, Cosmos and Solana. Community members holding certain official Discord roles related to the project and holders of official Pyth Network NFTs also qualify for the airdrop.
Snapshots for on-chain and social activity are already complete, though a date for when eligible participants can claim their allocations is yet to be announced. However, users can check their eligibility and PYTH token allocation via http://airdrop.pyth.network .
The PYTH Tokens allocated for this airdrop are from the “Community and Launch” category. Up to 6% of the total supply (600 million PYTH Tokens) are available to eligible participants, including 100,000,000 PYTH Tokens for dApps, 200,000,000 PYTH Tokens for on-chain activity by DeFi participants, and 10,000,000 PYTH Tokens for active community members.
The PYTH Token is in the Solana Program Library (SPL) standard, meaning it is native to the Solana blockchain.
