SBF Asks to Be Released Prior to Trial Again

SBF's lawyers filed another motion to the judge on Monday, asking to have SBF released from jail prior to his trial on October 3 for preparation purposes.

In August, SBF's bail was revoked by the court and he was detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York. Last week, SBF's request for temporary release ahead of the trial was dismissed by the appeals court.

This time, SBF wants to be released on October 2. In an effort to be allowed, SBF is willing to follow some restrictions and will consent to a gag order prohibiting him from speaking to anyone but his attorneys, parents, and brother during the course of the trial.
