SBF Detained in Controversial New York Jail with Tough Conditions

According to Reuters reporter Luc Cohen, the US Bureau of Prisons records showed that SBF is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York.

On August 11, SBF's bail was revoked by Judge Lewis Kaplan. MDC is a controversial prison that has long been embroiled in scandals involving inmate mistreatment and corruption, Cointelegraph reports. Currently, it houses over 1,500 prisoners. SBF is expected to stay at MDC for about two months until his criminal trial in October.

Partner at Cinneamhain Ventures and crypto KOL Adam Cochran commented on the matter, "They put SBF in MDC? That'll break him. Going to get a guilty plea within days…."
