Siam Commercial Bank Abandons Plans to Acquire 51% of Bitkub

Siam Commercial Bank abandons plans to acquire 51% of Bitkub. "The Board of Directors’ Meeting No. 15/2022 of SCBS passed a resolution approving SCBS to terminate the Transaction, effective 25 August 2022." Arthid Nanthawithaya, CEO told in a statement. The deal to buy Bitkub which was announced on November 2, 2021, had to be called off due to many issues that they have raised to the management of Bitkub, although none of the information that SCB sought was revealed in the statement.
