Solana Labs announced the launch of two new products, Solang, a Solidity compiler, and GameShift, a Web3 game development API.
Solang allows developers to write smart contracts on Solana in Solidity, the primary programming language of Ethereum, aiming to bridge the gap between EVM developers and the Solana ecosystem. Solang offers features like compatibility with Ethereum Solidity 0.8, ability to call and build Solana smart contracts, support for SPL tokens, support for development with Anchor, and others.
GameShift is a unified Web3 game development API that aims to simplify and accelerate Web3 game production. It provides developers with tools to build Web3 game experiences, including custody solutions, marketplaces, inventory management, NFT minting, credit card on-ramps and off-ramps, and more.
