Solana Pay Launches Transaction Requests
Solana tweeted that its payment protocol, Solana Pay, has launched transaction requests that enables two-way interactions between merchants and consumers. Transaction requests allow an interactive request between a checkout app and a mobile wallet to power almost any transaction possible on Solana: NFT minting, dynamic discounts, tokenized loyalty programs. Previously, Solana Labs announced the launch of Solana Pay in February, enabling merchants to accept crypto payments directly from consumers, currently supporting $USDC, $SOL and other Solana-based tokens.
