Some Users Reported Asset Theft After Accepting $WETH Offer on OpenSea

Recently, some users have reported asset theft after accepting $WETH offer on OpenSea. It is reported that hackers will airdrop an unknown series of NFTs and then send an offer of 1-2 $WETH to scam users into accepting the offer. Once the user completes the transaction, the hacker is able to take control of the assets in the user's wallet. The exact cause of the attack is unclear and may have been a vulnerability discovered after OpenSea made their code public.
