According to TechCrunch, a16z is planning to invest $500 million in Indian startups, and a16z's partners in India have already begun discussions with several Indian startups. Previously, a16z issued a release announcing a total fundraising of $9 billion in 2021. This includes a $1.5 billion Bio Fund, a $5 billion Growth Fund, a $2.5 billion Venture Capital Fund, a $2.2 billion Crypto Fund, and a $400 million Seed Fund.
