South Korean police have confirmed that they have recovered 3 billion won, or 75 percent of the funds involved, of the 4 billion won loss from the 2018 cryptocurrency exchange Pure Bit fraud. South Korean police traced the suspects' money routes and discovered hidden cryptocurrencies, and about 250 victims have received their cryptocurrencies, and police are still tracking the rest. Previously, Pure Bit used $ETH to raise funds that it claimed were used to set up a crypto exchange, before Pure Bit and its operators ran away.
