Starknet is becoming a major Ethereum’s Layer 2 ecosystem, consistently ranking as the second most active L2 by transaction volume this week, just behind zkSync Era, according to data from L2Beat.
Activity trended up after Braavos, a Starknet wallet provider, published and then quickly deleted an article last week revealing that Starknet’s long-awaited STRK token will soon be available to the public, as reporetd by the Defiant.
Starknet also ranked as a top five Ethereum protocol by ETH burn rate over the past seven days, driving the permanent destruction of 404 ETH, according to Ultra Sound Money.
