Stocktwits Announces Closing of $30 Million Series B Funding Round Led by Alameda Research

TokenInsight news that social media platform Stocktwits has announced the closing of a $30 million Series B funding round led by Alameda Research with participation from Times Bridge and others. The funds raised will reportedly be used to expand its services. Founded in 2008, Stocktwits pioneered the use of so-called "cash tags" and provides an online platform to discuss these cash tags. In addition, the platform plans to expand into NFTs and collectibles, as well as into international markets.
