Sui Introduces MIST, the Smallest Unit of SUI Coin

Public chain Sui introduced MIST, the smallest unit of a SUI Coin. 1 MIST = 10^-9 SUI. In other words, 1 SUI equals 1 billion MIST. Sui said that the introduction of MIST will offer better support for micropayments, including very low gas fees.

On Sui Wallet and Sui Explorer, Sui will soon update displayed values to illustrate that they are divided by 10^9 and in the format of decimal numbers instead of big integers.

On faucet, the allocated gas number will increase to 50,000,000, or 0.05 SUI.
