Telegram Plans to Build DEX and Non-Custodial Wallet

Pavel Durov, Telegram's founder and CEO, announced on his channel on Wednesday that Telegram will begin building a DEX and a non-custodial wallet.

"This way we can fix the wrongs caused by the excessive centralization, which let down hundreds of thousands of cryptocurrency users," said Pavel Durov.

Previously, Telegram launched Fragment, a decentralized username auction platform running on Open Network. Pavel Durov said the platform "took only 5 weeks and 5 people, including myself".
